Whispy is an anonymous wellbeing community. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
We process account details, anonymous posts and conversations, reactions, reports, purchase records, media you choose to upload, and basic device or service logs required to operate and secure the service. We do not require a public real-name profile.
2. How we use information
- Provide, synchronize, and maintain app features.
- Moderate content, investigate reports, and prevent abuse.
- Process virtual-item purchases and restore account records.
- Diagnose failures and improve reliability.
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Permissions and media
Camera and microphone access is requested only when you take a photo, record audio, or start a video call. Photo-library access is requested only when you choose media. You can revoke permissions in system settings.
4. Third-party services
We may use providers for hosting, storage, media delivery, notifications, payments, and diagnostics. They may process only the information required for their contracted service.
5. Storage and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use access controls, encrypted transport, account isolation, and moderation safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may access, correct, or delete eligible information, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, and request a copy of your data. Notification and device permissions can be changed at any time.
7. Account and data deletion
Open Me > Settings > Account and submit a deletion request. A 7-day cooling-off period applies. After it ends, information not legally required for retention is deleted or anonymized.
8. Children
Whispy is intended only for people aged 18 or older.
